Things the internet can’t answer

How are you different from other advisors?

We combine personable and friendly service with in-depth knowledge and expertise. We’re always here for our clients, and pride ourselves on using clear, straightforward language, so with our advice you can be confident in the decisions you make.
A Wealth Manager can help to secure your future. Working with one can provide clarity around your situation, as well as one-to-one guidance on the journey towards realising your financial goals and ambitions.
A Chartered Wealth Manager is a title awarded by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) to recognise experienced and qualified financial sector professionals. The title demonstrates an up-to-date and professional competence, as well as the ability to work to the highest standards of wealth management.

We understand that life changes, so we don’t create standalone financial plans. We’ll keep in touch and work with you to address any new challenges, opportunities and concerns you might have on an ongoing basis.
Although we’re proud to be based in Cheltenham, we’ll happily come to you wherever you are. Some of our clients live in the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, but we often travel further afield too.
Your initial consultation is free of charge. It’s the first time we meet and get to know you, so we like to think of it as your opportunity to ask us any questions and determine if working together would be right for you.
Typically, our fees range between £1,500 and £5,000 but they depend entirely on what you’re looking to achieve. Usually they’re based on the time we spend analysing your circumstances and suggesting an appropriate strategy, as well as on communicating with you. We also factor in our level of expertise along with the firm’s exposure to regulatory, commercial and financial risk.

Fees are always communicated in advance of working with you and can be charged on an hourly rate or based around a percentage of assets invested. We’re happy for you to pay us directly through an agreed payment method or as deducted from the product; just let us know what works for you.

For clients who wish to use our ongoing service, we have three service offerings you might like to take advantage of: Principal, Premium or Wealth Management. The level of service offered will depend upon the nature of your desired financial plan.
We offer financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, financial protection and estate planning.

However, we have a number of carefully selected professional partners, such as mortgage advisors, solicitors and tax specialists to accompany our services.
If you’re looking for support with financial planning, you are not required to move your investments to us. Part of our process will involve an evaluation of your situation and any underlying investments, and if our recommendation is for you to change provider, you will have the opportunity to do so, should you wish.
Many of our clients come to us to simply manage their existing investments from different providers. However, we ask that you arrange an initial consultation with us, so we can get to know you and ensure that the investments you hold are suitable for your financial circumstances.
We focus on providing financial advice on a fee-only basis and do not receive commission from any of the investments that we recommend. However, we are licenced to sell insurance and annuities and, where appropriate, this can form part of a client’s financial plan. These products do attract commission, all of which will be fully disclosed to you.
We are a whole-of-market advisor, which means we select from all available financial solutions that are deemed suitable for you and your circumstances. However, we will not consider high-risk products that we don’t believe will be suitable for the vast majority of customers.

We don’t make recommendations, advise or provide the servicing of any Unregulated Collective Investment Schemes (UCIS), products or funds.
We’re proud to have built a strong client base, which includes many individuals and couples. Often our clients are in their early 40s to early 70s, already retired or looking to ensure that they are well-positioned for retirement.

If you’re looking to manage your investments with us, we would anticipate that you have at least £100,000 in manageable assets. However, this isn’t set in stone; we’re happy to discuss this with you based on a variety of factors.

For our financial planning, retirement planning, estate and inheritance planning there is no specific asset requirement.
