Since I started Macdonald Wealth, I’ve been on a journey to create the best business I can.
It’s now been a two-year process for us to finally find a new home.
This October, we’re moving into new offices in Cheltenham’s prestigious Royal Crescent. I’ve also hired a fantastic new team member, who has been an invaluable addition to the business.
During lockdown, Macdonald Wealth continued to grow. I know that a lot of businesses found the opposite to be true. Luckily, we continued to grow and give value to our customers, despite the pandemic.
Growth is a good thing but I started to need more help. It was time to grow the team. As a result, we’ve hired Grace Williams to support with administration and client work.
Team bio: Grace Williams
Grace Williams is our latest hire. Originally from Berkeley, Grace studied business at A-Level and is now undertaking an apprenticeship in business administration. She’s training with the CISI (Chartered Institute for Security and Investment) concurrently as part of a 2-year qualification. Grace has joined the Macdonald Wealth team to carry out administrative work, data management and client support. In her spare time, Grace loves a bit of retail therapy and going to the gym. We’re delighted to have her on board!
Our new home
After a lot of searching, Macdonald Wealth has found a new place to call home. We’ve found a stunning office inside a Georgian terrace, in Royal Crescent, a historic part of Cheltenham.
Our new office has a breakout area suitable for meeting clients and is conveniently located in the heart of Cheltenham. We’ve committed to a 2-year lease because we’re intending to stay here for a while.
I chose to base Macdonald Wealth in Cheltenham partly because it’s been my home for 5 years, but also because it’s a wonderful place. We’re close to the Cotswolds, famous for its beauty (and a good place to play a round of golf). It’s also convenient for our South West clients.
Investing in the future
Although plenty of businesses are choosing to work remotely, I felt it was a good time for us to invest in a place to grow. I believe in the business, we have a strong base, solid client relationships and now felt like a good time to find a permanent home.
In the future, we’re looking to expand further and keep progressing Macdonald Wealth’s success. Our current office offers us the space to do that, with room to grow the business and the team even further.
I’m excited to progress and help our clients do the same. We look forward to continuing on this journey with you!
